In the golden plains of the left bank of the Guadiana, in the beautiful city of Moura, the Hotel de Moura occupies a building of significant historical, architectural and artistic value, former convent of the Hospitaller Order of San Juan de Dios, founded in the 18th century. XVII, and adapted for Gran Hotel de Moura in the year 1900.
The building is in the process of being classified as public interest heritage. It is a vaulted construction, with a facade covered with tiles with garrison Greeks, chantries in the openings of the first floor and frames in mass in the others, and still balustrade with statuettes and ceramic vessels. The patio and the staircase constitute signaling elements.
The Hotel de Moura, founded in 1900, has benefited from important conservation and adaptation works to improve the quality of service and the comfort of its guests. All accommodations have air conditioning, television and full bathroom.
