Patricio holds a bachelor's degree in biology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and an MBA from the MBA Business School.
He has more than 10 years of professional experience in the field of scientific research and in the tourism sector. He is responsible for the coordination and strategy of Biosphere projects, and contact point at an international level as General Secretary of the Responsible Tourism Institute (RTI).
Graduated in Tourism and with a master's degree in Internationalization and e-Commerce, specialized in product promotion and development.
With a professional career focused on sustainability, communication and UI development and design. In charge of market exploration, brand awareness and synergy generation, as well as innovation and product development in Biosphere.
Graduated in Tourism and with a Master's degree in Sustainable Tourism Destination Development from the University of Uppsala, and in Spatial Planning Tools from UNIZAR.
She has directed her professional career towards the development and application of more sustainable and responsible methodologies and solutions in tourist destinations. Currently, she is in charge of the technical application of the Biosphere certification and continuous improvement process in Destinations and companies as head of the department.
Graduated in English Studies, with a Master's Degree in Professional Translation and Intercultural Mediation and a Master's Degree in Digital Marketing and E-Commerce.
With a career focused on international communication and digital strategy, she is Head of the Biosphere's marketing and communication department, brand visibility and interaction between destinations, companies and citizens.
Graduated in English Studies, with a Master's degree in Secondary Education and a Master's degree in Tourism and Leisure Management.
Ana has wide experience in the analysis and study of sustainable tourism in the Canary Islands, as well as in the handling and management of ICT in tourist destinations. Currently, she is part of the technical team for the Biosphere certification and continuous improvement process in destinations and companies.
With a degree in Economics and a Master's degree in Public Management, Public Policy and Taxation, Evelina has developed her educational and professional career seeking a balance between sustainability, moral values and economics.
Able to communicate in Russian, Romanian, Spanish and English, she is responsible for Biosphere's international administration department.
As an educator first and foremost, Brent has blended this role with his capabilities as an entrepreneur over the last 25 years, teaching over 4000 undergraduate and graduate students around the world. While doing so, he has fostered relationships with Indigenous organizations, governments, and business leaders, to deliver educational programming in over 40 communities across British Columbia. In doing so, it has been part of a team of 50 talented facilitators and administrators who have delivered over 37 cohorts, serving over 500 Indigenous graduates.
With a degree in Psychology and an MBA, Olivia's academic background has given her a unique perspective on the intersection of business and sustainability, and her passion for driving sustainable change and creating positive impact from business has led her to Biosphere.
Olivia is the Business Development and Sales Coordinator for Biosphere EN, being responsible for client outreach, communications and onboarding, as well as overseeing and contributing to the marketing and social media strategy.
With over 25 years experience in the tourism sector, both operations and marketing, he has worked in the private sector and for almost a decade for Tourism British Columbia. Christian holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship, founded and operated his own DMO (Tourism Roatan) in Central America and in recent years has been involved in regenerative tourism, serving on the advisory board of the Centre for Social and Sustainable Innovation (CSSI) at the School of Business.
He currently represents the North American chapter of the UN Principles for Responsible Management in Education and is involved in the development of a teaching framework for business schools related to the SDGs to facilitate responsible future business leaders.
Shawn was trained in Tourism Management at Vancouver Island University and earned his Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management at Royal Roads University while completing his Tourism Destinations Certification in Seoul, Korea. Providing tourism career training or entrepreneurial tourism business training by helping people (and businesses) prosper is what relentlessly drives Shawn.
A former Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship in the Faculty of Management at Royal Roads University, Shawn delivers entrepreneurship training, project development and student coaching for the University of Victoria.
