On Saturday, April 7, the first National Meeting of the Responsible Traveler was held in León, at the Sierra Pambley House Museum. It was organized and promoted by the Responsible Tourism Institute, the Provincial Council of León and the InterMundial Foundation. The city of León hosted hundreds of bloggers, YouTubers, Instagrammers, writers and travel journalists for two days with a common goal "to generate a constructive debate on responsible tourism". Through the hashtag #Viajerosresponsables they shared images, moments and messages about the meeting in their different social networks.See more
The Sierra Pambley House Museum will host the 1st National Encounter of the Responsible Traveler, an event promoted by the Responsible Tourism Institute (RTI), the Intermundial Foundation and the Provincial Council of León.
The meeting, which will be repeated in other countries and continents, will bring together a hundred of the leading bloggers and influencers of travel nationwide, who will discuss the role and responsibility of tourists when creating sustainable tourism.
The conference is part of the development of the "Responsible Traveler Manifesto", an initiative of the Responsible Tourism Institute (ITR) and the Intermundial Foundation, to which more than 600 travel blogs have adhered.See more
