Booking

Booking, the world's leading international booking portal, highlights companies that engage in sustainable practices in what they call "Booking's Sustainable Travel Program". All companies that hold their Biosphere certification gain access to this program, appearing with a prominent position on the portal.

Agoda

Since it was founded in 2005, Agoda has been considered one of Asia's leading travel technology companies, with millions of registered customers across the continent. On this portal, they offer affordable deals on hotels, flights and activities, highlighting Biosphere entities that work towards sustainability.

TUI Group

TUI, the tour operator that reaches more than 21 million customers, highlight entities committed to economic, environmental and social sustainability in their offer, relying on Biosphere as a seal of guarantee to identify those entities that develop sustainable efforts based on the 2030 Agenda and the 17 SDGs.

EasyJet Holidays

European low-cost airline, which since 2019 has been gaining relevance in the European market. In addition to its main activity as air transport, the company offers holiday packages for which it identifies the most sustainable travel options, assessing the entities that hold its Biosphere certification.

EcoHotels

EcoHotels.com is a booking portal committed to giving back to the environment. For every booking, they support reforestation and plastic clean-up in Bali with Plastic Exchange. It is a portal used by travellers who are conscious of sustainability and responsible actions in their decision making and experiences.

Jet2Holidays

Formerly known as "Jet2.com", this tour operator, which has been in business for over 30 years, offers package holidays to sun and beach destinations across Europe from ten UK airports. Among their services, they consider the most sustainable travel options, guided by the Biosphere awards.

App in the Air

Since 2012, when it only acted as a flight tracker, App in the Air has become the go-to app for navigating travel plans for more than 6 million users. Calling itself a "personal travel assistant", this channel helps plan, book and manage an entire travel itinerary, finding all Biosphere certified entities as sustainable options.

Hotelbeds

A company of Spanish origin that was born in Palma de Mallorca in 2001 within the structure of Viajes Barceló, which has become the largest bank of hotel beds in the world. This portal works in B2B format, and distinguishes entities that implement sustainable practices such as companies that work on their sustainability with Biosphere.

Bidroom

This channel allows you to book under ecological criteria. To appear on it, you must accredit the sustainability certification of your business model. To do so, Bidroom welcomes all the companies that work on their sustainability with Biosphere, identifying them on its portal with its eco-hotel collection badge.

Corendon International

Corendon is the international tour operator in the Netherlands, as well as operating in Turkey and Malta. It transports 6 million passengers a year on tourist flights from Europe to popular holiday destinations and to various cities in Anatolia, offering in its portfolio of services more sustainable options where it highlights the Biosphere entities.

Destinet Ecotrans

ECOTRANS enables the DestiNet Portal for Sustainable and Responsible Tourism as a United Nations Alliance for Sustainable Development. DestiNet helps web surfers around the world to find and learn about the different entities that recognize their sustainability with Biosphere, in addition to other national and international eco-labels.

Tatajuba Travel

Tatajuba is a digital portal that offers search services and online tourism reservations, aimed at travel agencies for the reservation of hotel rooms with a special filter for sustainable hotels. Biosphere is its official partner for the identification and positioning of the entities identified in this filter.

Air Transat

Canadian tour operator that positions and recognizes the Biosphere entities in their booking channels to guarantee sustainability.

One World to Book

Known as the largest booking platform of accommodations with sustainable practices in Spain, One World to Book works so that travelers can contribute and generate a positive impact in their trips through their accommodations. This portal distinguishes the entities that work their sustainability with Biosphere, identifying them with the seal so that they are easily recognizable.

TIS (Tourism Innovation Summit)

Tourism Innovation Summit, the annual global summit on innovation and technology in the travel and tourism sector, has Biosphere as its official partner for the structuring and development of all tables, presentations and content related to the sustainability section of the summit, being its collaboration par excellence for the invitation of professionals and relevant figures in the sector that can make their voices heard in spaces where they can share their best practices and success stories internationally.

Skål International

Skål International, an Affiliate Member of UNWTO, has the mission to promote the development of accessible, sustainable and universal responsible tourism. To this end, it created the Skål International Sustainable Tourism Awards in accordance with the UN declaration in 2002 to highlight best practices worldwide. Within the framework of these awards, Skål International maintains an exclusive collaboration with Biosphere© and the RTI to grant the 'Skål Biosphere Sustainable Special Award', awarded to each winner of the Sustainable Tourism Awards, based on the sustainability pillars of the ITR.

FITUR - Sustainable Stand Award

Biosphere (RTI) is the creator and official organizer of the Sustainable Stand Award at FITUR (International Tourism Trade Fair). This award recognizes and highlights the efforts of exhibiting companies to ensure that their presence at FITUR is respectful of the environment and climate change, contributes to favoring socio-cultural aspects, and refers to issues of governance and economy. The RTI designed the methodology for this award on the basis of the Biosphere standard, adapting it to the reality of a trade fair stand, with the objectives, principles and goals of the 2030 Agenda and the 17 SDGs.

Re Think Hotel Contest

The Re Think Hotel Contest aims to encourage and promote the application of sustainability and refurbishment criteria in hotels in Spain, targeting both large hotel chains and small hotels. The contest is organized by the Habitat Futura Group with the Instituto de Turismo Responsable (RTI) as its official partner, and involves the participation of the Secretary of State for Tourism of the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, and the Spanish Office for Climate Change of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge of the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDAE) of the Ministry of Ecological Transition.

Edelweiss Awards

The Edelweiss Awards aim to contribute to the development of sustainable tourism in Aragon and recognize the best initiatives in each of the different categories, among which are "International Inspirational Project", "Aragon Tourist Accommodation Projects of -25 rooms and +25 rooms", "National Enogastronomy Projects", among others, thus raising awareness that sustainable tourism is possible. The jury is formed by representatives of different institutions and entities of the tourism sector and experts in sustainable tourism, national and international, being the RTI partner and guest member of honor in its various editions.

World Sustainable Travel & Hospitality Awards

World Sustainable Travel & Hospitality Awards serves to recognise, celebrate and share the stories of individuals and organisations that are accelerating change and making an impact in sustainable travel and tourism.
Their goal is for every organisation, in every sector of travel, to have a net positive impact and best practices to safeguard our communities and destinations. Integral to the programme is the WSTHA Advisory Board, composed of leading authorities, academics and dignitaries in sustainable tourism, including the Responsible Tourism Institute.
